About this work
A watercolor botanical study by Mary Daisy Arnold, dated 1936, shows an Elberta peach (Prunus persica) in two views. The upper view depicts the whole fruit with a red and orange blush over yellow, and the lower view shows a halved peach revealing its yellow flesh and dark brown pit.
