About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a whole peach with a red and yellow blush and a cross-section revealing pale flesh and a brown textured pit. Handwritten inscriptions at the bottom give the cultivar name Pallas, Griffing Florida Orchards, Jacksonville, Duval Co. Fla, and the signature of Deborah Griscom Passmore dated 1903. The record is part of the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
