About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a whole dark purple-red plum above a halved plum revealing yellow-orange flesh and a brown pit. Handwritten inscriptions in the lower left and right identify the variety and location, and the dates 7.21.08 and 7.29.08 appear beneath the artist's name.
