About this work
A watercolor pomological study shows a whole peach with a red blush over yellow skin and a second peach cut in half, revealing pale flesh and a dark brown pit. The sheet bears handwritten labels naming the variety "Blue Brogden" and the grower, and the work is dated 1901 and attributed to Bertha Heiges in the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
