About this work
A watercolor study on cream paper shows a whole red peach above a cut peach revealing yellow-green flesh, reddish skin edges, and a detailed pit. Handwritten inscriptions name the variety 'Aurora' with a catalogue number and a grower from New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas, with dates in July 1910.
