About this work
A watercolor pomological study shows a branch with four glossy red cherries hanging from green stems, accompanied by several serrated green leaves and small bud scales. A separate cross-section of a cherry at lower right reveals its pale flesh, pink edge and pit. The sheet bears handwritten inscriptions and dates from 1911, and is attributed to Mary Daisy Arnold in the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
