About this work
A watercolor study shows four dark red cherries, each with a thin green-tan stem, arranged in a loose diagonal on a cream sheet. The fruits are rendered with glossy highlights and shading, and their stem ends show small green and brown details. This pomological watercolor by J. Marion Shull, dated 1931, is held in the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
