This watercolor from the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection by Ellen Isham Schutt, dated 1907, shows a whole red strawberry with green sepals and a cut strawberry showing its pale interior and red outer flesh. Each fruit is set on a plain cream background with a soft cast shadow, and handwritten catalogue notes appear in the lower left and right corners.
