About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a cluster of dark red cherries hanging from a gray woody branch, with one cherry cut in half to reveal its pale pit. Faint pencil outlines of leaves sit beneath the fruit, and the handwritten label reads 72035, Perry, William Stewart, Landisburg, Pa. dated 6-26-14.
