About this work
A watercolor on cream paper shows a branch of strawberries with ripe red fruits, several unripe white-green berries, a serrated green leaf, and a cut strawberry showing its pale interior. The handwritten label reads "Glen Mary," Arlington Farm, Roslyn, Va. and the sheet is signed by Mary Daisy Arnold and dated 1915. It is part of the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection held by the National Agricultural Library.
