About this work
A pomological watercolor showing a whole strawberry with green calyx and a halved strawberry revealing its pale pink interior and seeds, rendered on cream paper with a faint ruled border. Typed and handwritten annotations below describe the fruit as stored after 21 days in cold storage at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, with normal color but lost flavor.
