About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a strawberry stem with ripe red berries, white unripe berries, green leaves, and a halved berry revealing its pale interior. Handwritten labels identify the variety as Jendall, from the Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station, and the sheet is dated 1913 and signed by Mary Daisy Arnold as part of the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
