About this work
A watercolor botanical study shows a whole red-skinned plum above a halved plum revealing yellow flesh and a brown pit, each with its stem. Handwritten inscriptions on the sheet give the variety name "Prinlew", Russellville Nursery Co. Portland, Oregon, and the artist's signature with dates in August 1915.
