This pomological watercolor shows a whole plum with deep purple skin and a halved plum revealing green flesh and a reddish-brown pit. The two views are mounted on a gray card with the artist's signature below and the fruit name written at the bottom. The work is attributed to Louis Charles Christopher Krieger and dated 1935 in the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection.
