About this work

A watercolor botanical study shows a sprig of red strawberries hanging from green stems with serrated leaves, plus a separately rendered halved berry showing its pale interior. Handwritten inscriptions at the lower edge read "50789 - Epsey," "N. Crawford Co. Cuyahoga Falls, Summit, Ohio," and the artist's name with dates of 6-12-11.
