About this work
A watercolor study on cream paper shows a single branch with pink-tinged apple blossom buds, open flowers with red stamens, and several green leaves. Handwritten inscriptions record the specimen number 34062, the collector J. A. Little, Cartersburg, Hendricks Co. Ind. and the artist's signature with the date April 28, 1905. The work is part of the Pomological Watercolor Collection by Deborah Griscom Passmore, dated 1905.
