About this work
A watercolor pomological study shows a whole red and yellow apple above a halved apple revealing its pale flesh, core, and dark seeds, both set on a cream sheet within a thin ruled border. The handwritten inscriptions at the bottom list the variety name, an inventory number, and collector and date notes.
