A village street lined with timber-framed houses leads toward a small chapel, with a large tree arching over the road and a mountain rising in the background under a sky tinted with soft reddish clouds. Two small figures stand near the chapel, and a figure is visible at the left beside the houses. The drawing is executed in graphite with pale watercolor washes.
