A pencil sketch shows a village lane lined with half-timbered houses and stone walls, with a tall tower with a spire rising in the background. Small figures are visible near the doorway and in the street, and trees fill the open space at left. The drawing is by Jakob Fürchtegott Dielmann, dated 1840, and held by the Städel Museum.
