A pencil drawing on cream paper shows a man with curly hair turned three-quarters toward the left, wearing a high white cravat and a double-breasted coat with wide lapels. The handwritten inscription at the lower edge reads 'Franco Morlacchi di Perugia, Dresda il 2 di Luglio 1823', signed by Carl Christian Vogel von Vogelstein. The work is held by the Städel Museum.
