About this work
An engraved full-length portrait shows a bearded man in a dark formal suit and bow tie standing beside a draped table holding a rolled document. Books, a glass globe lamp and a carved wooden chair with a patterned rug complete the studio interior. The print bears the title Abraham Lincoln and is dated 1860, with a signature in the lower right corner.
