A pen-and-ink print shows two men in a flat open landscape, one in a top hat and long coat holding a small dog on a leash, the other seen from behind in a military-style coat with a sabre at his side. Grazing cows and a distant town appear in the background, and a handwritten Dutch quotation sits beneath the scene. The work is dated 1864 and is attributed to Alexander Ver Huell.
