A formal family group portrait shows a bearded man in a dark suit with arms folded beside a seated woman in a lavender gown with lace ruffles, while a boy in a red tartan kilt holds a rifle and a small child in a white dress holds a bouquet of flowers. A stone terrace, classical column and distant country house with lawns frame the figures. The painting is dated 1876 and is by Rudolf Geyling, held in the Royal Collection.
