About this work
A group of elegantly dressed figures in an interior with green panelled walls and a large gilt-framed painting play a game of blind man's buff, with a blindfolded man in a brown coat trimmed with gold lace reaching out toward the others. Seated and standing onlookers in pink, green and brown silk watch from the sides, and a stool with sheet music sits at left. Pietro Longhi, Blind-Man's Buff, Royal Collection.
