About this work

This hanging scroll shows a seated-to-standing robed female figure in fluid ink lines, wearing a crown and flowing garments that rest on a bank of stylized clouds. A long vertical inscription in black ink and several red seals appear in the upper and side areas of the painting, with a gold-patterned brocade mount framing the work.
