A nocturnal view of a Gothic church interior shows a procession moving across a checkered stone floor, led by torch bearers and a priest in white vestments carrying a sacred vessel under a canopy. Soldiers in period dress accompany the group, while small figures are scattered among the side chapels and altars. Pieter Neefs the Elder painted this work in 1636, and it is held in the Museo del Prado.
