About this work
A charcoal and pencil drawing with touches of blue shows two men in top hats seated at a small café table, one leaning in toward the other in conversation. A standing figure in a waistcoat and a decanter-and-glass setup appear in the background beside a draped curtain and a pillar. Two lines of handwritten French text run beneath the scene, and the sheet is titled "Perspective" with the artist's signature and the date 1907 at upper left.
