About this work
A pen and ink drawing shows a Parisian street with a row of stately stone buildings on the left and a partly demolished wall and ruined structures on the right. Two workers push a wheelbarrow and stand among scattered rubble in the roadway. The work is by Eugène de Ménorval, dated 1897, and held by the Musée Carnavalet, Paris.
