About this work
A lithographic poster advertising the Cirque d'Été, with the words "Tous les Soirs" and "Sta. Otero" printed in bold lettering. A standing woman in a grey floral shawl with fringe and a yellow skirt dominates the left, while a small dancer in a black and yellow costume appears in an oval frame at upper right above a cluster of pink roses. The work is attributed to an anonymous French artist and dated 1888, held by the Musée Carnavalet, Paris.
