About this work
A colored political caricature shows a large brown bear with a crown on its head embracing a woman in a yellow patterned kimono and another figure, while a man in armor and a bearded man in formal dress look on at left. A seated figure in a blue coat rests on a wooden fence in the background. The print, titled Too many friends, was made by Udo Keppler in 1900.
