A satirical caricature shows four large men standing shoulder to shoulder on a wooden bridge, each beside a toll box labeled with a different profit: retailer, commission broker, railroad, and express company. A small peddler with a basket of goods approaches from the right while a woman in purple walks toward the town on the left. The print is credited to Udo Keppler and dated 1911.
