About this work
A caricature of a man in a top hat labeled Morgan leans over the edge of a curved surface, holding a large orange dollar sign magnet. Objects such as armor, gilded frames, a crozier, sculptures, ornate furniture and vestments are being pulled toward it across the surface. Udo Keppler created this print, titled The magnet, in 1911.
