About this work
A colored caricature print shows a fierce American figure in a green coat and a feathered hat labeled Jingo, shaking a fist and gripping a rolled paper marked Talk, Brag, and Bluster. Smaller caricatured figures of England, Italy, Japan, and other nations watch nervously from a shoreline on the left, while a small figure carries grain sacks labeled Wheat and Grain near a factory on the right. The work is a print by Udo Keppler, dated 1897.
