About this work
A colorful lithographic caricature shows a child in a flower-decorated automobile labeled 1877-1902, driven past a cheering crowd of exaggerated figures. Uncle Sam and a woman draped in an American flag wave encouragement from the right, while a signpost reading 25 years stands among the spectators. This print by Udo Keppler dates from 1902.
