About this work
A colored lithograph shows a large hen seated on a nest of eggs labeled with the words "Reform Measures" while small figures in suits crouch among the grass, some sucking at the eggs. A man in a dark suit stands at the right edge of the nest, and a cracked shell lies in the foreground. Udo Keppler created this print for The Puck Press in 1910.
