About this work

A colored caricature print by Udo Keppler, dated 1913, shows a large-headed man in a marshal's hat holding a gavel and a megaphone labeled "Four Years' Silence" while riding on the shoulders of a second man who climbs a rocky path marked "Administration Problem." The exaggerated figures and bold lettering give the print a satirical, poster-like character.
