About this work
A colour lithograph by Udo Keppler, dated 1905, shows a group of caricatured men in evening dress seated at a dinner table, many slumped or exhausted, as a wall clock nears midnight above a fireplace. A chubby infant labelled 1906 enters through a window while a sack labelled Lost Reputations hangs nearby.
