About this work
A caricature print showing red-coated figures charging with banners labeled Banking Trust, Tariff Monopoly, Railroad Rule, Lobbyism, Food Adulteration and Special Privilege, while blue-coated officers and a fringed frontiersman watch from a rise above a harbor town. The composition uses Revolutionary War costume to frame early twentieth-century political grievances. Attributed to Udo Keppler, dated 1914.
