About this work
A colored political cartoon shows a man in a pith helmet labeled A.B. Parker being carried on the back of a guide along a rocky mountain path. The guide's staff is inscribed Trickery and Party Politics, and a signpost on a dead tree at the right points to the St. Louis Convention above a steep cliff. The work is credited to Udo Keppler and dated 1904.
