About this work
A caricature shows a heavyset, well-dressed man seated in an armchair with a strongbox labeled RENTS beside him, while he drops coins from his hand into a basket marked ORGANIZED CHARITY. Two charity workers stand below him, and rent collectors climb the steps toward a city of tall buildings, as printed by The Puck Press. The work is a print by Udo Keppler, dated 1911.
