About this work
A printed plate from the book Les Vitraux shows a stained glass design titled Le léopard, attributed to Jacques Gruber and dated 1925. A stylized leopard with patterned spots and rosettes stretches across the central panel, surrounded by radiating striped arcs and angular geometric shapes. A small stag stands on a hill at left, and the side panels show further stylized forms in a decorative Art Deco manner.
