A small songbird with a red throat and grey-brown plumage perches on a dark, thorny branch among pink and white blossoms and budding green leaves. The woodblock print carries the page number No. 24 and Japanese calligraphy in the margins. The work is Keinen kachō gafu Pl.073 by Imao Keinen, dated 1891.
