A Japanese woodblock print showing two finches with rose-red breasts and brown wings in flight above a cluster of purple aster flowers, green leafy stems, and slender grass blades. The page is numbered No 12 at the top and framed by a thin border. This plate is from Keinen kachō gafu, a bird-and-flower picture album by Imao Keinen dated 1891.
