About this work
This chromolithographic print shows the royal doors of the Church of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, rendered as a richly decorated iconostasis gate with gilded floral scrollwork on blue and red grounds. Small framed icons of saints and scenes appear in the panels and circular medallions, and the Cyrillic caption identifies the subject.
