About this work
A haloed saint in richly patterned liturgical vestments, with white lace cuffs and a red stole, holds up a large wreath woven of wheat and colorful wildflowers. He stands in a golden harvest field with rolling hills and trees beneath a pale sky. The printed plate was issued in the Tygodnik Illustrowany, August 1907, and bears the caption and the artist's name, Piotr Stachiewicz.
