About this work
A hand-coloured architectural plate shows the entrance doors of the Blagoveshchenskii Cathedral framed by a richly gilded arch and columns. The lattice gate is rendered in green and white with gold studs, and the tympanum above is filled with floral and scrollwork ornament. The print is titled in Russian and was made by Fedor Grigoryevich Solntsev, dated 1849-1853.
