A chromolithographed plate shows an ornate gilded dish with a central double-headed eagle surrounded by inscribed text and a ring of stylized rosettes. A scalloped border of green, red and blue floral scrollwork frames the dish, and a side profile of the piece appears below. The print is titled Plate of Tsar Alexis Mikhailovich, made by Fedor Grigoryevich Solntsev, dated 1849-1853.
