About this work
A chromolithographed plate shows an ivory winebowl decorated with enamel, presented as a front view with its domed lid and as an open view showing the interior and inner decorative medallion. The gilded surfaces are ornamented with turquoise and white enamel bands, pearl-like beading, and small red stones arranged in cross and floral patterns.
