About this work
A hand-colored print shows five standing figures in 17th-century boyar clothing, with two men in tall fur hats and long embroidered robes flanking three women, one wearing a gold crown-like headdress. The figures stand on a stone-paved ground within an ornate gold frame, with a Cyrillic caption below. The work is attributed to Fedor Grigoryevich Solntsev and dated 1849-1853.
