About this work
A hand-colored lithographic plate arranges several hunting knives in embellished sheaths, a long knife with a green handle, a plain metal-sheathed knife, a whip with a gold-decorated grip, and three ornate jeweled fittings. The objects are shown in orderly rows against a pale ground, with gilded and enameled details rendered in careful detail.
